THEORY TEST

The Theory Test must be passed before you can book your practical test. Meadowbank S.O.M. offer free theory training facilities at our office in Meadowbank.

MULTIPLE CHOICE
There are two parts to the theory test, the first part is 50 multiple choice questions of which you need to get at least 43 out of 50 correct to pass.

HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST
The second part of the theory test is the Hazard Perception Test, you will be shown 14 video clips where you have to observe possible driving hazards, 13 of the video clips have 1 hazard in them and one clip has 2 hazards. You do not know at the start which clip has 2 hazards. You can score up to 5 points if you see the hazard early enough.

The pass mark is 44 out of 75, Once you have pass you have 2 years from that date in which to book and pass your test. If you do not pass your practical test  in that time then you will be required to re-sit your Theory Test.

If you cannot make time to use our office facilities then you can purchase Books, DVD's or PC-CD ROMs' from your instructor.
